Duke International Student Center (DISC)
The Duke International Student Center (DISC) is located on the Second Floor of Bay 5, Smith Warehouse, 114 South Buchanan Boulevard.
DISC is open for in-person office hours Mondays through Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
DISC West is staffed for pop-in advising Monday-Friday in Bryan Center 101A.

How to Use the International Student Friendly Housing Filter
You can use the "International Student Friendly" housing search filter to find properties that have indicated they are accommodating to international students and understand that documentation provided by international students may differ from that of U.S.-based students.
The number of available properties that display when you filter by International Student Friendly (or any other search filters) will vary based on availability, so remember to check back periodically.
Also note that if a property is not categorized under this filter, it doesn't necessarily mean it isn't international student-friendly; they may simply not have specified this. Feel free to contact other properties and ask about their application requirements for international students.
Follow these steps to find housing options using the International Student Friendly filter:
- Go to the Housing page.
- On the right-hand side of the housing search toolbar, select More to view additional search filters:
- Scroll down to the Community Features section.
- Select the International Student Friendly filter and click Done.
If you're searching on your mobile device, go to Housing and select Filter. Scroll down to Community Features, select International Student Friendly, and then click Done:
